Your First Visit: The Complimentary Consultation
Every treatment journey begins with a comprehensive consultation. This initial visit gives you the opportunity to meet Dr. Rothman, get to know our team, and learn more about your smile and treatment options.
We believe orthodontic care works best as a partnership. Our team is here to answer your questions, address concerns, and guide you through the process with clarity and support from day one.
During your consultation, we will:
- Review your medical and dental history
- Give you a tour of our office
- Perform a comprehensive oral evaluation, including digital imaging or X-rays as needed
- Design a customized treatment plan tailored to your needs
- Review financial details, including costs, insurance benefits, and payment options
Our goal is for you to leave your consultation feeling informed, comfortable, and confident about next steps.
Scheduling Your Office Visits
Once treatment begins, regular office visits are an important part of staying on track. Most patients are seen approximately every 4–8 weeks, depending on their treatment plan.
These visits are typically brief—often lasting 15–30 minutes—and focus on monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments. Attending scheduled appointments consistently helps keep treatment moving efficiently and on timeline.
We see patients by appointment only and encourage keeping scheduled visits whenever possible. That said, we understand that life happens. If you’re running late or need to reschedule, simply let us know as soon as you can so we can best accommodate you.

Dental Visits During Treatment
Your general dentist plays an important role alongside Dr. Rothman during treatment. Routine dental cleanings and checkups—typically every six months—help support healthy teeth and gums while your smile is being guided into alignment.
We’re always happy to coordinate with your dentist to ensure you receive seamless, well-rounded care throughout treatment.
